Description

Air Liquide Healthcare Australia are a leading and dedicated supplier of medical gases, homecare and sleep services. We specialise in respiratory diseases and have a strong reputation in sleep diagnostics and CPAP therapy. The main objective of this position is to support, monitor, and optimize Air Liquide Healthcare's business-critical systems, including MS Dynamics GP, SQL databases, API integrations, and reporting systems. The Software Engineer serves as the primary point of contact for internal IT and system-related issues, collaborates with external IT partners to resolve support tickets, and develops automation tools, reports, and database processes to improve operational efficiency and streamline business operations. Reporting to the Digital & IT Manager. How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Support and monitor MS Dynamics GP, SQL databases, reporting tools, integrations, and business-critical systems Act as the first point of contact for internal IT and system-related issues Coordinate with the external IT company for support tickets, server matters, patching, updates, and service issues Maintain and improve SQL databases, queries, views, stored procedures, reports, and data processes Develop and maintain SQL Back Up Schedules, batch jobs, management reports, operational reports, and system reports Use SQL, PowerShell, APIs, CSV, JSON, and automation tools to improve system efficiency Support API integrations, data imports/exports, and system-to-system data exchange Assist with Power BI dashboards, KPI reports, and business intelligence reporting Support Global IT teams related to upcoming ERP, local user support with reporting, data, and system queries Identify system improvements and help streamline business processes Guidelines and Expectations The Software Engineer should be able to: Autonomously monitor and support business-critical systems, including MS Dynamics GP and SQL databases, to ensure high system availability and minimal operational disruption. Prioritize and act as the first point of contact for internal IT and system-related issues, troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently. Coordinate effectively with external IT partners on server management, patching, updates, and escalation of support tickets, ensuring timely resolution of issues. Proactively identify system inefficiencies and propose automated workflows or tools (e.g., SQL, PowerShell, APIs) to streamline operations and improve database processes. Effectively collaborate with local users and global IT teams to support ERP migrations, local data/reporting needs, and system queries. Assist internal users with custom reports and Power BI dashboards to support data-driven decision-making. Maintain accurate documentation of database structures, API integrations, queries, and stored procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and business continuity. Escalate complex system issues, architectural changes, or security concerns to the Digital & IT Manager in a timely manner. Comply at all times with Air Liquide Healthcare's policies, procedures, quality management system (QMS), and data privacy guidelines. Are you a MATCH?
