About The Role We are seeking a talented Flutter Developer to join our team at Bling. In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing our mobile application to the next level, ensuring it remains reliable, performant, and user-centric. You will work closely with our product and backend teams to translate Figma designs into high-quality, responsive features for both Android and iOS platforms. Your work will directly impact families across Germany by delivering features that enhance their daily routines and improve user engagement. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have practical experience in cross-platform app development using Flutter and Dart, with a proven track record of contributing to production applications. Knowledge of native mobile programming languages such as Swift, Java, or Kotlin is advantageous. A keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of UI/UX principles are essential, along with experience working with design tools like Figma. You should be proactive, able to work independently, and willing to bring new ideas to the table. Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code is a plus. Fluency in both German and English, along with strong communication skills, is required to thrive in our collaborative environment. Responsibilities Your core responsibilities will include the ongoing development and enhancement of our Android and iOS applications using Flutter and Dart. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement new features from initial concept through to deployment, ensuring seamless integration with backend APIs. Developing engaging, smooth user interfaces based on Figma designs while prioritizing performance and user experience will be a key focus. Additionally, you will contribute to building a scalable and robust platform by participating in API integrations and backend architecture discussions. Maintaining high code quality through thorough testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices is crucial. You will also proactively identify areas for improvement within the app, such as performance bottlenecks or UX issues, and suggest process optimizations. Your role involves continuous learning, sharing knowledge, and helping improve our development workflows.
