Python DevOps Engineer Join a large financial organisation and work on a modern analytics platform used by more than 1,500 users across data, analytics and machine learning teams. As a Python DevOps Engineer, you will help build, automate and improve a cloud-first platform running on Microsoft Azure. You will work in a multidisciplinary team with platform engineers, business analysts, product owners and solution architects. The focus is on creating reliable, scalable and maintainable solutions that make it easier for users to develop and run advanced analytics and machine learning workloads. Your responsibilities Develop clean, maintainable Python scripts and applicationsAutomate workflows and integrations across different data sourcesTranslate stakeholder needs into technical solutionsImprove platform stability, reliability and operational efficiencyMonitor performance and resolve technical issuesBuild and maintain APIs and integrationsDeploy and support cloud-native solutions in AzureContribute to CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and platform automationKeep up with new Azure technologies and continuously improve the platform Your profile Around 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering or a similar engineering roleStrong Python 3.x skills, including clean, modular and testable codeExperience with FastAPI and RESTful APIsExperience with pytest, mocking and API contract testingStrong knowledge of Microsoft AzureExperience with services such as Entra ID, Microsoft Graph API, Storage Accounts and Cosmos DBExperience with cloud-native architectures and scalable Azure deploymentsHands-on experience with DockerExperience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Azure DevOpsFamiliarity with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code toolsComfortable working in a collaborative engineering environment Interested in combining Python development, Azure and DevOps in a large-scale data environment?
