Senior Golang Developer – Event Technology – Dresden – up to €80k We are supporting a growing technology company in the events and ticketing sector that is looking for an experienced Senior Golang Developer to join its engineering team. The company is building and scaling a modern platform that powers events ranging from concerts and cultural events to major festivals and sporting events. This is an opportunity to work on backend systems with real-world scale, while having a genuine influence on architecture, technical direction and engineering practices. The role As a Senior Golang Developer, you will play a key role in developing and evolving the company's backend platform. You will work on scalable services and APIs, contribute to architectural decisions and help ensure the platform remains performant, reliable and maintainable as it grows. Your responsibilities will include: Designing and developing scalable backend services and APIs using Go/GolangBuilding reliable systems capable of handling high-volume production workloadsContributing to software architecture and making technical decisionsImproving performance, scalability, stability and overall system qualityDeveloping new features in collaboration with Product and Frontend teamsRefactoring and continuously improving existing servicesApplying Clean Code principles and modern software engineering practicesSharing knowledge and contributing to the development of the engineering cultureEvaluating technologies and approaches that can improve the platform What we're looking for 5+ years of professional backend development experienceStrong commercial experience with Go/GolangProven experience developing scalable APIs and backend systemsStrong understanding of software architecture and good engineering practicesHigh standards for code quality, maintainability and Clean CodeExperience with MongoDB or another modern database technologyExperience working with public cloud platformsUnderstanding of CI/CD and modern software delivery practicesA strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to take ownership of technical challengesComfortable contributing to architectural discussions and making technical decisionsVery good written and spoken German and English What you can expect This is a role for a developer who wants to have a meaningful impact rather than simply work through a list of tickets.
