About The Role & Mission
We engineer intelligent AI tools that eliminate routine paperwork for psychotherapists, enabling them to direct their focus back to patient care and clinical practice.
As our first Health Technical Product Manager, you will assume full responsibility for our clinical and administrative software tools.
Operating 100% remotely from anywhere in Germany, you will guide product execution where frontier large language models, mental health workflows, and medical device compliance (EU MDR) intersect.
Working side-by-side with our founders, CTO, clinical researchers, and designers, you will lead user discovery, write technical specs, build quality evaluation sets, and launch core product lines from initial concept to full deployment.
What You Will Do
Product Leadership: Oversee product discovery, technical requirements, delivery schedules, and feature adoption across a remote software development cycle.Strategic Roadmap: Shape and articulate our product direction, making clear trade-offs between refining existing workflows and launching new capabilities.Practitioner Research: Shadow therapists, study documentation habits, and conduct field interviews to turn real-world clinical friction points into clear product requirements.AI Evaluation & Quality: Partner with engineering and clinical research teams to establish quality benchmarks for generated clinical notes, building these into structured test sets and prompts.Specs & Prototyping: Draft crisp requirement documents, map out potential edge-case failures, and use modern AI tools to prototype solutions independently.Embedded Regulatory Compliance: Embed EU MDR and SaMD requirements directly into early product drafts, integrating risk management and clinical evaluation into the core development flow.Release & Iterate: Coordinate releases with go-to-market teams, monitor clinical usage metrics, and iterate rapidly based on ongoing therapist feedback.
What We Are Looking For
Must-Haves:
4+ years of Product Management experience in B2B software where success depended on solving deep product complexities rather than managing routine processes.Proven track record in complex, regulated domains: Demonstrated success building software within intricate sectors like HealthTech, MedTech, or heavily regulated industries.
You know how to harmonize strict regulatory constraints (EU MDR), specialist user needs (therapists), high quality standards, and technical AI capabilities.Practical LLM knowledge: Solid operational grasp of LLM systems, including prompt design, output evaluation, edge cases, and production reliability.Asynchronous Communication: Exceptional written clarity for writing specs, problem statements, and decision memos across a distributed setup.Execution Focus: A hands-on builder who writes specs, creates test cases, and personally validates AI outputs against clinical standards.Language Proficiency: C1 fluency in both German and English.Location: Resident in Germany with full eligibility for remote work.
Nice-to-Haves:
Direct experience with medical device software compliance (EU MDR, IEC 62304).Professional background or academic training in psychology, therapy, or healthcare.Track record of shipping generative AI features or building evaluation frameworks at scale.Founding PM experience or establishing product management practices from 0 to 1.
Core Values & Mindset
User Empathy: Deep respect for mental health professionals, focusing on tools that simplify practice rather than introduce friction.Data Integrity: Uncompromising commitment to privacy, security, and safety when handling sensitive patient information.Technical Excellence: Focus on medical precision and technical reliability over vanity features.High Ownership: Strong self-direction, initiative, and personal accountability in a fully remote environment.
What We Offer
Founding Impact: High-autonomy role reporting directly to the founders and CTO as our first PM hire.Meaningful Purpose: Directly reduce practitioner burnout and restore time for high-quality therapy.Cutting-Edge Learning: Deep exposure to state-of-the-art LLM development, clinical research, and medical regulation.Agile Execution: Flat team hierarchy where ideas transition into live production code within days.Flexible Perks: 100% remote flexibility within Germany, 28 paid vacation days, competitive salary (€60,000 – €90,000), and startup equity.
