About The Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join our team in Germany. This role involves working closely with our clients and internal teams to develop, customize, and deploy Salesforce solutions across various clouds, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, B2B Commerce, and Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce development, with a keen interest in expanding their expertise into the Consumer Goods Cloud. As a key member of our agile delivery team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client requirements and align with best practices. Fluency in both German and English is essential, as you will be engaging with German-speaking clients and international project teams. Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess 3 to 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, demonstrating proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, and Flows. Experience working across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Commerce Cloud implementations is highly desirable. Familiarity with Git-based version control, CI/CD tools, and DevOps practices is essential for efficient development workflows. Candidates should have excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to debug complex technical issues, and a proactive approach to learning new Salesforce features, particularly Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud. Fluency in both English and German is mandatory, with additional languages considered a plus. Certifications such as Salesforce Platform Developer I/II, JavaScript Developer I, or Integration Architecture Designer will be viewed favorably. A background in consulting environments or structured project teams, along with a strong drive for continuous improvement, will help candidates succeed in this role. Responsibilities As a Senior Salesforce Developer, your primary responsibilities will include leading the development and deployment of Salesforce solutions tailored to client needs. You will develop end-to-end solutions using a combination of configuration and customization, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability. Collaborating with stakeholders, you will gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into technical designs. You will build Salesforce components utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flows, ensuring high-quality code through rigorous code reviews and testing. You will work closely with solution architects and functional consultants to design and implement solutions across multiple clouds, including Sales, Service, Commerce, and Consumer Goods Cloud. Integration tasks will involve connecting Salesforce with external systems via APIs and middleware tools such as MuleSoft and SAP CPI. You will participate in DevOps activities, automating deployment processes with tools like Git, Gearset, or Salesforce DevOps Center, and contribute to performance optimization, reusability, and developer experience improvements. Supporting defect resolution, enhancements, and rollout activities will be part of your ongoing responsibilities. Staying current with Salesforce innovations and contributing to internal initiatives will help foster a culture of continuous improvement. Your role will also involve mentoring junior team members, sharing best practices, and actively participating in team knowledge sharing sessions to promote technical excellence within the organization.
