Department & Position The department is responsible for development and maintenance of Capital Market IT applications (in-house and package) used worldwide, covering Front Office (Murex, Apex, Orchestrade…), Back Office (Summit, Calypso…), Market data referential (Asset Control..), Market Risk (in-house application on big data technologies). The Transversal Operation division works across the full value chain of Back Office ans specially on the Collateral management. Within GIT and more specifically Capital Market IT, the GMD & MCR Transversal sector has launched the COMET project, aimed at building the new collateral management system: Receiving data from position-keeping systemsReceiving data from the bank's repositoriesManagement of collateral contractsCollateral management for all types of contracts and products: Calculations and issuance of margin calls and interest (collat & IM)Reconciliation managementCreation and editing of user reports. This project is managed in Agile mode and is an in-house CACIB development. We are seeking a talented Software Engineer with a strong aptitude for programming to join our dynamic Capital Market Department. In this role, you will contribute to projects and possesses capability to make breakthroughs in design, development, testing, debugging and implementing software applications or specialised utility programs in support of end users' needs on platforms. Main Responsibilities Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialised utility programs. Analyse user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.Identify and resolve issues which have organisation wide and long-term impact. Identify security risks, creates requirements to capture security issues, and performs initial threat modelling to ensure coding standards meets security requirementsDevelop and maintain the software configuration management plan and oversees the building, verification and implementation of software releases.
