About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Software Developer (Front-end) to join our team. In this role, you will apply deep expertise in front-end architecture and UI/UX best practices to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and translate them into intuitive, scalable ERP interfaces that streamline operations and drive efficiency. Acting as a critical bridge between technical teams and end-users, you will ensure seamless integration of ERP systems with organizational goals through well-crafted, high-performance front-end solutions. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using ReactJS and Next.jsArchitect reusable, scalable component libraries and front-end patternsOptimize applications for performance, SEO, accessibility, and Core Web VitalsImplement SSR, SSG, ISR, and API routes in Next.js based on product needsIntegrate front-end with REST / GraphQL APIs and third-party servicesCollaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs into pixel-accurate, responsive interfacesConduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior/mid-level developersParticipate in architecture discussions, sprint planning, and estimationWrite and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end testsTroubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvement in CI/CD pipelinesStay current with the React/Next.js ecosystem and propose adoption of relevant tools Qualifications 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong front-end focus4+ years of hands-on experience with ReactJS (hooks, context, state management)2+ years of production experience with Next.js (App Router and/or Pages Router)Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScriptSolid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern styling approaches (Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, styled-components, or similar)Experience with state management libraries (Redux Toolkit, Zustand, React Query/TanStack Query, etc.)Proficiency with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress/Playwright)Familiarity with Git, code review workflows, and CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)Understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and front-end/back-end integrationKnowledge of web performance optimization and browser rendering behaviorStrong problem-solving skills and clear written/verbal communication Required Skills Experience with Node.js / Express / NestJS or other back-end frameworksFamiliarity with micro-frontends or monorepo tooling (Turborepo, Nx)Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker)Experience with design systems (Storybook, Figma handoff)Knowledge of web security best practices (XSS, CSRF, CSP)Prior experience in a product-based or SaaS environment Pay range and compensation package Competitive compensation based on experienceOpportunity to work on challenging, large-scale productsCollaborative, engineering-driven culture with real ownershipLearning budget and support for certifications/conferencesFlexible working hours / remote-hybrid optionsHealth and wellness benefitsClear growth path toward Lead / Architect rolesHow to Apply Send your resume, portfolio/GitHub, and a brief note about a front-end project you're proud of to buddha@smarten.com.np with the subject line: Senior Software Developer (Front-end) – [Your Name].
