Overview:
We are looking for a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer with 2–4 years of practical, hands-on experience to join our technical team in Nicosia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and improving our infrastructure, deployment processes, cloud environments and monitoring systems.
You will work closely with development and technical teams to ensure applications and services are deployed reliably, securely and efficiently.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys automation, infrastructure, troubleshooting and improving operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain Linux-based infrastructure, primarily Ubuntu/Debian.
• Deploy, configure and maintain infrastructure within AWS.
• Work with AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS and CloudWatch.
• Build and maintain Docker containers and Docker Compose environments.
• Support and manage Kubernetes environments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Manage infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Automate configuration and operational tasks using Ansible.
• Implement and maintain monitoring using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Manage centralised logging using ELK, OpenSearch or similar platforms.
• Configure and maintain Nginx and reverse proxy infrastructure.
• Manage source control and development workflows using Git.
• Write Bash scripts to automate repetitive operational tasks.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking and application-related issues.
• Assist with maintaining infrastructure security, availability and performance.
• Work with development teams to improve deployment processes and overall system reliability.
• Participate in incident troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
Technical Requirements:
Essential
• 2–4 years of hands-on DevOps / Infrastructure experience.
• Strong Linux administration skills, particularly Ubuntu/Debian.
• Practical experience with AWS.
• Good working knowledge of Docker and Docker Compose.
• Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Practical experience with Terraform.
• Experience with Ansible or similar configuration-management tools.
• Strong understanding of Git.
• Good Bash/shell scripting ability.
