Description

Azure Integration Engineer | C#/.NET | Azure Integration Services We're partnering with a well-established Australian organisation that is investing in Azure Integration Services as a strategic enterprise integration platform and building a dedicated internal integration capability around it. As part of this growth, we're looking for experienced Azure Integration Engineers to join their Platforms & Applications function and work across a broad enterprise application landscape. This is a genuinely hands-on engineering role with end-to-end ownership, working closely with a Technical Lead, Enterprise Architect and application teams to design, build, deploy and support integrations in production. The Role You won't simply pick up a development ticket, write the code and hand it over. You'll be involved across the integration lifecycle, from understanding the requirement and contributing to the detailed technical design through to development, testing, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting and ongoing BAU support. You will: Design, develop and maintain integrations using C#/.NET and Azure Integration ServicesBuild solutions across Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus and API ManagementDevelop and maintain secure REST APIs and integration servicesBuild event-driven and message-based integrations, alongside synchronous API-based solutionsWork with messaging concepts including queues, topics/subscriptions, retries and dead-letter handlingContribute to detailed integration design while working within established architecture, patterns and standardsBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOpsConsider security, error handling, idempotency, logging, monitoring and observability as part of the engineering approachTroubleshoot integration issues across applications and services in productionOwn solutions through development, testing, deployment and BAU, rather than handing them off once the build is completeWork closely with Architects, Technical Leads, application teams and business stakeholders across the broader technology environment About You You're a hands-on software or integration engineer who is comfortable getting into the code but also understands how your solution fits into a broader enterprise environment. You can work through an integration from requirement to production, understand why different integration patterns are used and take ownership when something doesn't behave as expected. You'll ideally bring: Strong commercial C#/.NET development experienceHands-on experience with Azure Integration Services, particularly Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus and API ManagementExperience designing and developing REST APIsGood understanding of synchronous, asynchronous, event-driven and message-based integration patternsExperience with Azure DevOps and CI/CDUnderstanding of integration concepts such as retries, dead-letter handling, idempotency, authentication/security and observabilityExperience supporting and troubleshooting integrations in production environmentsThe ability to work from architectural direction and patterns while contributing to the detailed technical designExperience integrating enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM, finance, order management or other SaaS applications would be advantageous. Most importantly, we're looking for Engineers who want more ownership, not less. You'll have senior technical support around you, but you'll be trusted to understand the problem, contribute to the solution and see your integrations all the way through into production. If you're an Azure/.NET Engineer who enjoys integration and wants to build deeper capability across Azure Integration Services, we'd love to hear from you.
