Description
Responsible for cloud operational activities in managed-service team as L2 Cloud Engineer for AWS Cloud, such as the following:
- Work on-site in Jabodetabek Area- Collaborate with L1 engineers, presales and project managers to create, execute & improve daily operation activities
- Involved in discussion with customer pertaining current architecture, improvement, solutions and potential new workloads
- Perform & support implementation, service request, and change request for customer environment- Create & review method of procedures (MOP) for deployments or changes
- Response to escalation from L1 Cloud Engineers
- Troubleshoot issues & respond to incidents- Create & review incident report
- Perform root cause analysis and create problem report
- Create & review monthly cloud infrastructure report, including recommendation for improvements that aligned with AWS best practices
- Create and improve operational runbooks for daily operations
- Involved in transfer knowledge activities to internal team & customer
Technical Requirement:
- Hands-on experience on AWS cloud infrastructure administration
- Proficient in networking concepts, including but not limited to VPCs, transit gateway, routing, firewalls, load balancers, Route53, Direct Connect and VPNs in AWS or on-premises.
- Experienced in AWS Multi-Account environment, such as implementing and managing AWS Landing Zone & AWS Control Tower
- Have the capability in creating and using Infrastructure-as-a-code (IaC) scripts with CloudFormation & Terraform
- Experienced in managing Linux operating system, and scripting (such as shell & python) is a plus- Familiar with containerized application platform, such as Kubernetes, Openshift, or Docker is a plus
Non-technical Requirement:
- Have AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification
- 2 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud engineering
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
