Mid-Level Web / Full-Stack Developer

Moorabbin, Melbourne VIC | Hybrid | $100,000 + Super We are looking for a capable mid-level Web Developer with full-stack experience to join our Melbourne development team. This is a permanent full-time position working on a broad range of established and new software, web and online platform projects. The role is hybrid, with the opportunity to work from home 2–3 days per week, with the balance based at our office in Moorabbin, Victoria 3189. The Role You’ll work across both front-end and back-end development and be involved in building, improving and maintaining a variety of commercial websites, web applications, phone apps, online platforms and new technology projects. You’ll be working with experienced developers and management, but you’ll also be expected to take ownership of your work, solve problems and contribute ideas. A particularly important part of the role is the intelligent use of modern AI development tools. We’re actively incorporating AI into our development processes and want someone who is comfortable and embraces using these tools to improve productivity, coding, debugging, research and problem-solving. What You’ll Be Doing Full-stack web development across new and existing projectsFront-end and back-end developmentBuilding and maintaining web applications, websites, phone apps, and APIsDatabase and server-side developmentIntegrating third-party services and APIsTesting, debugging and improving existing systemsWorking with cloud-based systems and development environmentsUsing AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and development qualityWorking with our developers, designers and management teamHelping take projects from concept through to production About You Ideally, you’ll have around 2–5 years’ commercial development experience and a good practical understanding of modern web development. We’re looking for someone with experience in areas such as: JavaScript / TypeScriptReact, Next.js or similar modern frameworksNode.js and/or other server-side technologiesHTML and CSSREST APIs and integrationsSQL and database developmentGit and modern development workflowsAWS or other cloud environmentsGeneral full-stack application development Experience will matter more to us than a particular technology stack. AI Development Skills Experience using modern AI tools for software development will be highly regarded, including tools such as: ChatGPT / GPTClaudeGeminiGitHubCopilotCursorOther AI coding, research and development tools You don’t need to be an AI or machine-learning engineer. We’re looking for a good web developer who understands how to use AI effectively as part of the development process.
