About The Role Darumatic is seeking a talented DevOps / Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift, GitLab, and AI-driven infrastructure/MLOps to join our growing team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain enterprise OpenShift clusters, optimize software delivery using GitLab CI/CD and GitOps, and support the onboarding of AI/ML workloads and modern AI-assisted DevOps workflows. You will collaborate closely with software engineers, data science teams, QA specialists, and security stakeholders to build robust, scalable, and secure cloud-native environments. Key Responsibilities OpenShift Infrastructure Management: Architect, deploy, and manage enterprise Red Hat OpenShift clusters across cloud (ROSA, ARO) and hybrid environments. Ensure high availability, performance tuning, and seamless operator management.GitLab CI/CD & GitOps: Design, implement, and streamline advanced CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI. Automate deployment workflows for microservices using GitOps practices (e.g., GitLab Agent for Kubernetes, Argo CD).AI & MLOps Integration: Enable and support infrastructure for AI/ML workloads using Red Hat OpenShift AI (RHODS) or similar orchestration tools. Implement AI-driven DevOps automation and monitor performance for containerised AI models.Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate platform provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps methodologies.Observability & DevSecOps: Implement centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenShift Logging/Service Mesh). Embed security controls within GitLab pipelines and enforce container runtime security.Secrets & Compliance: Manage secrets securely using HashiCorp Vault, CyberArk, or OpenShift Secrets management tools while enforcing least-privilege RBAC. Skills & Experience OpenShift Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience managing enterprise Red Hat OpenShift (OCP, ROSA, or ARO) environments in production.GitLab Mastery: Deep expertise with the GitLab ecosystem, including complex pipeline creation, runner management, security scanning (SAST/DAST), and GitOps deployment patterns.AI / MLOps Foundations: Experience supporting AI/ML workloads, GPU acceleration enablement on Kubernetes/OpenShift, or leveraging AI-driven tools/AIOps within CI/CD and operational workflows.Infrastructure Automation: Strong proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, and custom scripting in Python, Bash, or Go.Containerisation & Networking: Solid understanding of Kubernetes architecture, Helm charts, ingress controllers, CNI plugins, and service meshes (e.g., Red Hat OpenShift Service Mesh / Istio).DevSecOps Integration: Proven track record of integrating security into CI/CD pipelines and hardening container environments. Desirables Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration / Architecture.Experience with Red Hat OpenShift AI (RHODS), Kubeflow, or training/serving LLM workloads on Kubernetes.GitLab Certified Associate or Professional credentials.Familiarity with advanced cloud observability tools (Datadog, Dynatrace, or native OpenShift Observability).
