Description
About SimplifyNext
SimplifyNext is a Singapore-headquartered digital engineering firm, with offices in Thailand and Malaysia, working across three converged areas: agentic AI, AI-enabled application modernisation, and intelligent automation.
We bring strong business process consulting together with deep technology skills and modern delivery practices – product-centric, agile and AI-assisted.
We build bespoke applications and AI systems, and we go deep on the platforms our clients run on, including Microsoft, AWS, ServiceNow, Databricks and UiPath.
That combination of engineering depth and platform depth is what our clients come to us for.
We build and modernise the systems people depend on daily.
Our 300+ practitioners are multi-disciplinary by design – business consultants, software engineers, architects, AI engineers and designers working on the same delivery, not handing off between silos.
We focus on delivering outcomes for clients, building strong careers for our people, and staying ahead of the technology curve.
We hire because we are growing.
What You'll Own
1.
End-to-End Feature Delivery
Design, develop and deploy full-stack applications using modern frameworks and cloud-native architectures.
Take ownership of features or modules from requirement through to production release and post-deploy support.
Take features from zero to one where nothing exists yet, and confidently improve systems that are already in production.
Build the integration layer that allows different systems – and in some engagements, different business units or agencies – to exchange data reliably.
Translate business and technical requirements into robust, maintainable, scalable solutions.
2.
Engineering Quality & Craft
Apply best practices in code quality, automated testing, security and performance.
Participate in code review, uphold architectural standards, and keep technical debt visible and managed.
Produce clear technical and architectural documentation.
3.
AI-Assisted Delivery
Use SimplifyNext's AI workbench across the lifecycle – story refinement, code generation, test generation, review support and documentation.
Work within our guardrails: human gates, drift checks, coverage contracts and CI-first verification.
4.
Cloud, CI/CD & DevSecOps
Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments and release automation.
Embed security requirements from design – secure coding, access controls, vulnerability management.
Own what you ship through deployment and monitoring, rather than handing work off at code complete.
5.
Collaboration & Mentoring
Work alongside project managers, designers, business analysts, QA and client stakeholders in one delivery team, turning requirements into shipped, tested, working software.
Review code and mentor junior developers; recommend improvements to tools, frameworks and approaches.
Must Have
3 to 8+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack software development, delivering to production.
We hire across levels and will match you to the right one based on your depth.
Strong full-stack ability with real depth in at least one side – front-end (e.g.
Next.js, React, TypeScript) or back-end.
Solid back-end development experience (e.g.
Kotlin, Golang, Java, Node.js, Python or .NET).
Experience designing and consuming APIs, and working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
A track record of building and owning systems end to end, not only contributing to them.
Solid coding fundamentals – able to write and reason about production code independently, without relying on an AI assistant to do the thinking.
Comfortable working inside legacy systems and making them better, not only building new ones.
Experience with microservices and event-driven systems (e.g.
Kafka, RabbitMQ), and with containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
Working knowledge of at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP) and modern DevOps practices.
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in cross-functional, client-facing teams.
Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
At SimplifyNext, we’re committed to building a team of curious, driven, and forward-thinking individuals who care deeply about creating meaningful impact through technology.
If you’re excited by the opportunity to grow, collaborate, and shape the future of digital transformation across the region, we’d be happy to hear from you.
