What you’d be doing in this role As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve. At the moment, this role is focused on: You'll design, build, test and maintain software that contributes to intuitive and dependable user help experiences.You'll independently deliver well-scoped engineering work, prioritising effectively with a moderate level of guidance and direction.You'll analyse technical problems, consider possible solutions and use precedent and judgement to select an appropriate approach.You'll collaborate with engineers and cross-functional partners to understand user and product needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.You'll contribute to code reviews and team engineering practices, incorporating feedback and helping maintain a high standard of quality.You'll investigate issues within your area of ownership and contribute to solutions that improve the reliability and effectiveness of the user experience.You'll continue developing your engineering craft by learning from other Canvanauts and gaining exposure to systems and roles related to your own.
