Own our cloud foundations and delivery pipelines for regulated customer workloads—reliability, observability, and cost-aware operations at the center.
Key responsibilities
Design, implement, and operate CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and release automation for Django and supporting services.Manage cloud environments (e.g., AWS): networking, IAM, secrets, backups, patching, and capacity planning.Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and incident runbooks; participate in on-call rotation as needed.Partner with security and engineering on hardening, DR drills, and audit-friendly change documentation.Optimize performance and spend; recommend and execute pragmatic improvements without compromising compliance posture.
Qualifications
5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or CloudOps roles with production ownership of Linux-based stacks.Strong experience with at least one major cloud provider and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).Hands-on scripting (Python or Bash) and experience with containers and orchestration concepts.Solid understanding of networking, TLS, secrets management, and least-privilege access patterns.Excellent communication skills; comfortable working with distributed teams and customer-facing constraints.
Nice to have
Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, or food safety adjacent environments).Familiarity with Django, PostgreSQL, and managed data services.Prior work with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or customer security questionnaires.
