Description

Job Purpose Design, build, and maintain cloud platform services and across the enterprise by providing standardized frameworks, automation, and self-service capabilities. Focus on engineering excellence, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and platform standardization to support application teams and accelerate cloud adoption. Ensures that application and infrastructure teams can leverage cloud services securely, efficiently, and in compliance with organizational standards, accelerating digital transformation and improving agility. Key Responsibilities Cloud Platform Engineering & Build Design and implement cloud landing zones, identity, networking, and security guardrails.Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates and automation pipelines for cloud resources.Ensure cloud platforms meet performance, scalability, and compliance requirements.Enablement & Self-Service Build and manage self-service catalogs for cloud resources and platform services.Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates and automation pipelines for consistent deployments.Provide developer enablement through standardized patterns, documentation, and training.Platform Engineering & Integration Design and maintain shared platform services (identity, networking, observability, CI/CD integration).Enable multi-cloud and hybrid connectivity with secure, scalable architectures.Integrate FinOps practices for cost visibility and optimization.Security & Compliance Collaborate with IT Security to embed security controls (IAM, encryption, segmentation) into platform services.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.Maintain configuration baselines and enforce policy-as-code.Documentation & Knowledge Sharing Create and maintain design documents, runbooks, and operational playbooks.Provide training and enablement for operations and application teams.Service Delivery Provisioning Time: Average time to deliver new infrastructure resources.Automation Coverage: Percentage of cloud infrastructure processes automated.Reliability: Improved uptime and resilience of cloud platforms.Cost Efficiency Cloud Cost Efficiency: Percentage of cost savings achieved through optimization and automation.Budget Adherence: Variance between actual spend and planned budget.Security & Compliance Compliance Audit Pass Rate: Percentage of successful compliance audits.Security Incident Rate: Number of security breaches or vulnerabilities detected.5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with 2+ years in cloud engineering or platform enablement. Hands-on experience with IaC, automation tools, and multi-cloud environments.Background in IT governance, compliance, and cybersecurity.Required Skills Strong knowledge of Cloud Technology i.e. AWS, Azure, or GCP services (compute, storage, networking, services and costing).Expertise in building web environments on AWS, which includes wo­­rking with services like EC2, ELB, RDS, and S3 or similar.Expertise in building and maintaining cloud-native applications.Expertise in automation tools, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
