We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Platform Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise-grade cloud and DevOps platforms that empower development teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently, securely, and at scale.
This role combines cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, automation, security, and developer enablement to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud & Platform Engineering
Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure environments.Architect and support cloud-native platforms across multi-cloud environments.Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automate provisioning and platform management.Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes-based container platforms and cloud infrastructure services.Ensure platform reliability, availability, scalability, and performance through engineering best practices.DevOps & CI/CD Enablement
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation frameworks.Implement GitOps practices and automated deployment strategies to streamline software delivery.Support developer self-service capabilities and platform automation initiatives.Drive continuous improvement of software delivery processes and DevOps maturity.Integrate testing, security validation, and compliance controls into software delivery pipelines.DevOps Platform Administration
Administer and support enterprise DevOps platforms, including artifact management, code quality, deployment automation, feature management, and GitOps solutions.Manage software artifact repositories, governance controls, and repository lifecycle management.Maintain code quality and security scanning platforms while supporting engineering teams.Support feature flag management and progressive delivery practices to improve release flexibility and risk management.Develop reusable templates, standards, and automation tools to improve developer productivity.Security, Compliance & Governance
Implement secure software delivery practices across the development lifecycle.Support software supply chain security, dependency management, vulnerability remediation, and governance initiatives.Establish and maintain security controls within cloud and DevOps environments.Ensure compliance with organizational, regulatory, and industry security requirements.Collaborate with security and compliance teams to implement controls, audits, and risk mitigation strategies.Automation & Engineering Excellence
Develop automation solutions using modern scripting and programming languages.Build operational tooling that improves reliability, efficiency, and self-service capabilities.Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools to enhance productivity and platform operations.Create and maintain technical documentation, operational standards, and engineering best practices.Drive standardization and continuous improvement across platform and engineering services.Operations & Support
Provide advanced troubleshooting, incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.Support critical platform services through operational readiness and on-call responsibilities.Monitor platform health, application performance, and infrastructure stability.Implement observability, monitoring, and reliability engineering best practices.Coordinate platform upgrades, maintenance, and modernization initiatives.Collaboration & Leadership
Partner with engineering, architecture, security, infrastructure, and operations teams to deliver platform solutions.Serve as a subject matter expert for cloud, DevOps, automation, and platform engineering technologies.Mentor team members and promote technical excellence across the organization.Lead platform modernization, governance, onboarding, and adoption initiatives.Participate in Agile delivery practices and cross-functional planning efforts.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent experience may be considered.7+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, systems administration, or related technical disciplines.5+ years of hands-on DevOps engineering experience.Experience designing and supporting cloud infrastructure solutions.Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies and tools such as Terraform.Experience building and managing CI/CD platforms and automated software delivery pipelines.Hands-on experience managing containerized workloads and Kubernetes platforms.Experience administering enterprise DevOps and software delivery platforms.Strong understanding of software supply chain security, vulnerability management, and dependency governance.Experience with Linux and Windows administration.Advanced scripting and automation experience using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar languages.Experience supporting enterprise-scale developer platforms and engineering enablement initiatives.Familiarity with monitoring, observability, platform reliability, and operational support practices.Experience operating within regulated or compliance-driven environments.Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise DevOps platforms and cloud environments.Experience leading platform modernization, governance, and adoption initiatives.Familiarity with DevOps performance metrics and continuous improvement frameworks.Experience integrating automated testing, security scanning, and compliance validation into CI/CD pipelines.Experience working within healthcare, financial services, government, or other regulated industries.Cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform, DevOps, or related industry certifications.Experience implementing software supply chain security and governance frameworks.Experience with AI-assisted software development and engineering productivity tools.
