Position Summary:
We are looking for a driven Product Development Coordinator to support the successful execution of the product lifecycle by coordinating product data, documentation, testing, launch readiness, and cross-functional activities.
Working closely with the Senior Product Manager, this role ensures products are fully documented, tested, accurately configured, and ready for manufacturing, sales, marketing, and customer use.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
· Create, organize, and maintain accurate product master data, including item codes, Business Central Item Cards, product attributes, specifications, dimensions, weights, packaging details, drawings, die lines, certifications, and supporting documentation.
· Manage product revisions and ensure all product documentation remains complete, current, and accessible throughout the product lifecycle.
· Own the day-to-day execution of prototypes and production testing activities, support the development and maintenance of product QA protocols, document testing results, and follow up on required actions.
· Ensure quality requirements and documentation are completed before product launch.
· Coordinate product launch readiness activities across Product, Operations, Purchasing, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Customer Experience, and IT.
· Maintain launch checklists, project timelines, product information, ERP setup details, training materials, and other launch-related requirements to support successful product release.
· Own the execution of new product introductions, product changes, product updates, and product discontinuations by coordinating activities across internal systems and departments.
· Develop and maintain internal product training materials, user guides, manufacturing documentation, reference materials, and the product documentation library.
· Assist the Senior Product Manager by gathering customer feedback, competitive information, market research, and supporting analysis for product initiatives.
· Coordinate product development activities across departments, track project milestones, follow up on outstanding actions, and communicate risks that may impact launch schedules.
Qualifications:
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, Supply Chain, Project Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.2+ years of experience in product coordination, product development, manufacturing, project coordination, engineering support, quality assurance, or a similar role.Experience working in a manufacturing or B2B environment is preferred.Experience working with an ERP system, preferably Microsoft Business Central, is considered an asset.

· Ability to learn technical product information and translate it into clear documentation and training materials.
· Experience creating and maintaining documentation, procedures, specifications, or technical information.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process improvements.
· Ability to work independently while effectively managing deadlines and changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with product master data management or ERP item setup.
· Experience coordinating product launches or product lifecycle activities.
· Familiarity with quality assurance processes and product testing.
· Experience creating training materials or standard operating procedures.
· Knowledge of manufacturing processes, product documentation, or engineering change management is an asset.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
· Maintain accurate and complete product data, documentation, specifications, and ERP item setup.
98% accuracy rate for product data and ERP item setup, measured by number of corrections or rework items found after submission.
· Complete launch readiness checklists, product setup, and required documentation on time, completed by agreed deadline.
· Ensure testing results, QA requirements, and follow-up actions are documented and completed within agreed timelines.
100% of QA/testing action items documented.
· Keep product revisions, training materials, and internal documentation current and accessible.
Updates completed within 5 business days of an approved revision or product change.
· Track project milestones, follow up on action items, and escalate risks or delays in a timely manner.
· Support effective cross-functional coordination to help deliver successful product launches and lifecycle updates.
