High-ownership role combining AI, 3D geometry, CAD, and product development. Work closely with product leaders and users to turn ideas into working software, with strong emphasis on practical engineering and user impact.

Description

We’re hiring: Generalist AI & CAD Developer NeoBIM | Build software that shapes real buildings. At NeoBIM, we’re building AI-powered software that helps architects and construction companies configure, design, and optimize buildings. We’re looking for a strong software engineer with a builder’s mindset—someone who enjoys moving between AI, 3D geometry, and product development, and takes ideas all the way to working software. You have a strong Product Focus. You care about what you are making and how it works for end users. What you’ll do Make AI useful in CAD. Develop features for building generation, model editing, and design automation—connected to real geometry, constraints, and building data.Build across the stack. Work on geometry, application logic, interfaces, and AI integrations. Choose the right approach rather than forcing every problem through an LLM.Own outcomes, not just tickets. Work directly with product, founders, and users to understand problems, prototype solutions, ship, and improve them. What we’re looking for Strong engineering fundamentals. You can structure software, reason about performance, debug difficult problems, and write code others can maintain.Depth somewhere, curiosity everywhere. You bring experience in CAD/BIM, computational geometry, 3D graphics, or applied AI. You don’t need to be an expert in all of them—but you must be willing and able to learn.Initiative and sound judgment. You spot what needs doing and get moving. You use AI coding tools effectively, but can explain, test, and take responsibility for what you ship. Why NeoBIM? Our founder previously co-founded Enscape. Now we’re tackling how buildings are designed—not just how they’re visualized. This is a hands-on role with meaningful ownership and technically demanding problems. You’ll help decide what we build and how it works, not simply implement someone else’s specifications. Interested? Message me with something you’ve built—a product, demo, or GitHub project—and explain your contribution. We care more about evidence of ability than a perfectly formatted CV.
