Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Application Identity Developer (Technical) to support a federal program in Stuttgart, Germany. The Application Identity Developer will serve as a hands-on engineer responsible for developing, integrating, and securing enterprise applications within a large-scale Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) environment. This role is heavily focused on coding, authentication integrations, API development, automation, and troubleshooting complex identity solutions supporting mission-critical systems. Responsibilities of the Application Identity Developer include: Develop and maintain custom identity integrations using Python, Java, .NET, PowerShell, or similar technologies to support enterprise application onboarding and authentication workflows.Build and configure secure application authentication solutions leveraging SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and federation technologies.Design, develop, and troubleshoot REST APIs, identity broker integrations, and access management services supporting enterprise applications.Implement authentication and authorization logic through PingFederate, PingAccess, F5 BIG-IP/APM, reverse proxies, and API gateway technologies.Automate identity lifecycle, access provisioning, application integration, and validation processes using scripting and infrastructure automation tools.Debug and resolve complex authentication, authorization, federation, and Single Sign-On (SSO) issues across distributed environments.Collaborate with security engineers and application teams to implement Zero Trust access controls and modern ICAM enforcement capabilities.
