The successful candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Java, Oracle/SQL databases, REST APIs, Angular, microservices, web application architecture, and modern front-end technologies. The ideal candidate will be experienced in working throughout the Software Development Life Cycle, translating technical specifications into robust applications, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and collaborating effectively with functional and technical teams in an Agile environment. Must-Have Skills & Experience 10+ years of experience as a designer and developer of large-scale, multi-client web applications.10+ years of hands-on experience with Java development using Oracle or SQL databases.5+ years of hands-on experience with REST APIs and RESTful Web Services.Knowledge of security gateways and protocols, including:JWTOAuth 2.0SSL Certificates Nice-to-Have Knowledge and experience with OPS Development Standards/Processes. Key Responsibilities Application Development & Data PipelinesDesign, implement, and continuously expand data pipelines through extraction, transformation, and loading activities.Translate technical system specifications into working and tested applications.Develop detailed programming specifications.Write and/or generate application code.Compile data-driven programs.Maintain applications and conduct unit testing.Design, develop, test, debug, and document applications.Resolve and troubleshoot technical issues arising during software implementation and operation.Provide technical assistance during implementation, conversion, and migration activities. Software Development Life CycleCollaborate with IT professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.Apply structured methodologies for application design, development, implementation, and maintenance.Participate in application architecture, front-end and back-end integration, and API development.Elicit and document requirements and information from diverse business stakeholders and subject matter experts.Conduct design walkthrough sessions with project teams.Provide post-implementation support and resolve technical issues.Prepare user and system documentation as required.
