We are now growing our Development team to support the expansion of our client portfolio and the ongoing development of our data sharing platforms across Europe and the MENA region. To this direction, we are seeking a Mid to Senior Backend Developer, reporting to the Development Lead. The role is hubrid on a full-time basis. Role Description As a Fides Development Engineer, you will be part of the core team responsible for building and enhancing norbloc's data sharing platforms. You will collaborate with other developers, QA engineers, and product managers to design, implement, test, and deliver high-quality features. The role requires solid engineering skills, problem-solving ability, and a proactive mindset to adapt to different client requirements and project contexts. Duties And Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable features within the platform basis the product architecture and functionalityCollaborate with the Development and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and working solutionsWrite clean, well-tested, and maintainable code, ensuring adherence to best practicesContribute to the design and documentation of APIs and integrations of the platformOptimize performance and security of the platform in line with client and regulatory requirementsParticipate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peersEnsure unit testing of all developed modules and servicesSupport troubleshooting, debugging, and resolution of issues across multiple environmentsStay updated with emerging technologies to continuously improve platform capabilities Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience4+ years of professional software development experienceStrong knowledge of Node.js or Java/Spring, and modern frontend frameworks (Angular or React)Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and SQL optimizationFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA)Understanding of Agile methodologies and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailFluency in EnglishExperience in Fintech, RegTech or enterprise SaaS and familiarity with blockchain-based platforms or distributed architectures will be considered as a plus5+ years of experience will be considered for a more senior scope of responsibilities Benefits Become part of a friendly, innovative and ambitious teamLearn and grow in a pioneering, high-growth environmentWork with world-leading financial institutions and government entitiesExposure to cutting edge technologies and methodologiesCompetitive compensation package
