Designing and implementing modifications to existing electrical, robotic, and PLC automation equipment to improve uptime and reliabilityTroubleshooting controls and automation systems and driving equipment improvementsManaging projects, suppliers, and new process equipment while keeping projects on schedule and within budgetCoordinating major maintenance, emergency repairs, and corrective actionsSupporting continuous improvement and capital projectsLeading and mentoring others through troubleshooting, equipment design, and automation development
What you need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical field7+ years of automation experience, preferably in a manufacturing environmentStrong experience with Siemens PLCs and TIA PortalKnowledge of Profibus, Profisafe, Safety Integrated, and ASI-BusAbility to create and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematicsFamiliarity with risk assessments and safety evaluations
Bonus points if you have:
Master’s degree in Engineering or MBAExperience with FANUC Robots, FANUC Vision, Cognex Vision, and Atlas Copco toolsKnowledge of electrical, mechanical, and safety codesAutoCAD experience
