Can you bring your technical skills to our IT department join our team based in UK, where you can enjoy a collaborative culture that empowers you to build a career you can be proud of What you would do as our Software Engineer As a Software Engineer within ASSA ABLOY’s Global Solutions division, you will join a skilled software development team dedicated to creating innovative technologies that solve real-world customer challenges in key and asset management. Reporting to a Senior Software Engineer, you will work across the full development lifecycle, contributing to desktop, web, and device-based applications, APIs, and backend services. You will play a key role in developing, supporting, and enhancing both on-premise and cloud-based software solutions. Your duties will include delivering new features, improving existing functionality, and troubleshooting issues to ensure high-quality, reliable products. You would also: Develop a deep awareness of KAM’s products, services, and solutions to deliver software that addresses real customer needs and business challenges. Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, high-quality, and reusable software solutions that follow best practices. Continuously enhance code quality, performance, and test coverage to ensure reliable and maintainable applications. Translate user requirements and user stories into effective, functional software deliverables that meet stakeholder needs. Collaborate effectively within the team, exchanging technical expertise, contributing documentation, and taking ownership of delivering excellent results. The Skills And Experience You Need We are looking for someone who: Is passionate about Agile software development, with a dedication to delivering high-quality solutions through continuous improvement and teamwork. Is a strong advocate of teamwork, trust, integrity, and empowerment, contributing positively to a collaborative and inclusive culture. Has experience in AI-enabled and cloud-based software development, with knowledge of modern frontend technologies such as React, Flutter, Avalonia, and Blazor, and a focus on AI-first development practices. Is Analytical, pragmatic, and resourceful, with a keen interest in learning new technologies and building innovative products.
