DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer, you will: • Implement infrastructure-level security remediations and platform hardening initiatives • Configure, deploy, and maintain vulnerability scanning and security management tools • Monitor cloud environments and infrastructure for security findings, vulnerabilities, and compliance concerns • Partner with engineering teams to coordinate infrastructure and application-level remediation efforts • Support vulnerability management processes, security improvement initiatives, and ongoing risk reduction efforts • Evaluate and implement automation solutions that improve security operations and system monitoring • Explore and leverage AI-assisted tools that enhance vulnerability management, remediation workflows, and operational efficiency • Maintain and update cloud infrastructure, platform services, and DevOps tooling • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes • Identify and remediate infrastructure-related technical debt • Maintain monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability solutions to support system reliability • Support cloud infrastructure requirements related to ongoing platform modernization and migration initiatives • Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with engineering, DevOps, and project leadership teams • Maintain accurate documentation, ticket updates, and status reporting within Agile project management tools You will be a good fit for this role if you have: • 3-6 years of DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering experience • Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including: • RDS • DynamoDB • Lambda • API Gateway • S3 • IAM • VPC • Experience implementing infrastructure security controls and security remediation activities • Experience working with vulnerability assessment, vulnerability management, and security scanning tools • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as: • GitHub Actions • AWS CodePipeline • Similar automation platforms • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies such as: • Terraform • CloudFormation • AWS CDK • Experience maintaining cloud infrastructure in production environments • Experience working with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, CloudWatch, or similar platforms • Familiarity with relational databases and SQL concepts • Experience managing technical debt, platform maintenance, and infrastructure upgrades • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Experience working from Agile backlogs and collaborating within Scrum teams • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a highly collaborative team environment Nice-to-Haves • Experience with vulnerability management platforms and application security testing tools • Experience supporting enterprise security remediation initiatives • Familiarity with security vulnerability lifecycle management, CVE remediation, and security compliance processes • Experience evaluating AI-assisted DevOps or security tooling • Experience supporting data platform, analytics, or reporting platform migrations • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as: • Docker • ECS • Kubernetes • Scripting experience using Python, Bash, Node.js, or similar languages • Experience with security automation and infrastructure monitoring solutions • Experience supporting large-scale AWS environments • Experience working within cross-functional Agile teams What Makes Someone Successful in This Role?
