About the Role Our client is a market-leading banking and financial services organisation investing in advanced AI and digital transformation. We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to lead the design, development and deployment of enterprise-grade Agentic AI and Generative AI solutions. This role combines hands-on engineering, cloud architecture and technical leadership within a highly regulated environment. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and development of Agentic AI, LLM and multi-agent solutions.Architect AI platforms using RAG, vector databases, embeddings and knowledge retrieval.Design scalable AI solutions across Azure and/or GCP, including Kubernetes/OpenShift.Develop production-grade AI services using Python, APIs, microservices and Kafka.Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance across AI engineering initiatives. Technical Skills: Expert Python with strong software engineering and API development experience.Strong knowledge of LLMs, Generative AI, RAG and AI orchestration frameworks.Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel or similar.Advanced knowledge of Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift and MLOps.Strong experience with Kafka, Spark, SQL, Git, CI/CD and model monitoring. Experience & Qualifications: 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years in AI/ML.Proven experience delivering AI solutions into production.Strong experience in AI architecture, cloud engineering and enterprise integration.Banking or financial services experience is mandatory.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field.
