Software Developer - Power Inverters This is your chance. We are looking for a motivated and skilled Development Engineer in Electrical Engineering to join our global power electronics development team. You will contribute to the design and evolution of traction charging systems and powertrain solutions, supporting projects across new development and serial support. Set things in motion. Design and implementation of complex control algorithms in MATLAB/Simulink for all types of electrical machines (e.g. asynchronous, synchronous and reluctant machines)Simulation, analysis and optimization of control strategies in a virtual environmentUse of Embedded Coder or Simulink Coder to convert graphical models into efficient C/C++ code for electronic control units (ECUs), mainly for power invertersDevelopment of software applications in C/C++, considering real time constraints and functional safety requirementsSupport software integration, testing, commissioning, and series production ramp-upCollaborate closely with development teams at international sites Use your skills. Several years of experience in creation and simulation of control algorithms for electrical machines with MATLAB/SimulinkStrong experience with embedded C/C++ in real time systems and in working with microcontrollers (e.g. Infineon AURIX or NXP)Knowledge of development in AUTOSAR/MICROSAR desirableExperience in development within safety relevant environments according to applicable standardsGood understanding of the interaction between mechanics, hydraulics, power electronics and softwareCompleted university degree in control engineering, automation technology, software engineering or comparableFluency in English is required.
