Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Software Engineer role based in Doha, Qatar.
The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain backend services that power AI interview workflows and candidate insight reports.
Daily tasks include implementing new features, optimizing existing code, integrating with third-party APIs, and ensuring system reliability, performance, and security.
The role involves collaborating with product managers, data scientists, and UX designers to translate requirements into robust technical solutions, writing clean and testable code, and participating in code reviews.
The Software Engineer will also troubleshoot production issues, contribute to architectural decisions, and help continuously improve development processes and tooling.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience building production-grade applications.Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs and working with databases.Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and modular, maintainable code practices.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience with one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, or similar) and related frameworks.Familiarity with cloud platforms, version control (e.g., Git), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows.Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team, communicate clearly, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.Interest in AI, machine learning, or HR tech products is a plus.
