REMOTE Job Description: Onbase API Developer Job Summary We are looking for an OnBase API Developer with strong experience in Hyland OnBase, API integrations, and enterprise application development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in building, enhancing, and supporting integrations between OnBase and other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, .NET/C#, SQL, and workflow/document management solutions. This role requires a solid understanding of OnBase architecture, document workflows, Unity/API integrations, and backend application development. The candidate should be comfortable working with business, QA, infrastructure, and support teams. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and support OnBase integrations with internal and external enterprise applications.Build and maintain APIs/services for document upload, retrieval, indexing, workflow actions, and metadata exchange.Develop solutions using OnBase Unity API, Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, and related integration tools.Configure and customize OnBase workflows, document types, keywords, forms, and lifecycle processes.Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand document management and workflow requirements.Integrate OnBase with systems such as ERP, CRM, core business platforms, and third-party applications.Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide application support.Write and optimize SQL queries/stored procedures for data validation, reporting, and backend integration needs.Participate in code reviews, unit testing, deployment, and release support.Ensure security, scalability, and performance of OnBase-related integrations.Maintain technical documentation, interface specifications, and support guides.Work closely with DevOps/infrastructure teams for deployments and environment support.Mandatory Skills8+ years in Hyland OnBase development/integrationHyland OnBase certificationStrong experience with OnBase API development using:Unity APIOnBase Web ServicesREST/SOAP integrationsHands-on experience in OnBase configuration:Document TypesKeywordsWorkflowsUser Groups/RolesForms / Unity FormsStrong programming experience in C#/.NETGood knowledge of SQL Server / Oracle and writing complex SQL queriesExperience in building and consuming APIs and web servicesStrong understanding of document management systems (DMS), enterprise content management (ECM), and workflow solutionsExperience with troubleshooting, debugging, and production supportExperience with OnBase Workflow, Work View, Unity Forms, and DIP/Document Import ProcessorFamiliarity with support models including incident, problem, and change managementExposure to document imaging, scanning, OCR, and records managementStrong communication and stakeholder coordination skillsGood to have SkillsKnowledge of OnBase administration and environment managementExperience integrating OnBase with other enterprise systemsFamiliarity with Windows Services, IIS, batch jobs, and middleware integrationExposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCPExperience with Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelinesBasic understanding of authentication/security protocols such as OAuth2, SSO, LDAP, SAMLExperience in performance tuning and optimization of OnBase solutionsExperience in insurance, healthcare, banking, or financial services domainsExperience with microservices architecture NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for Canada-based positions. The starting pay range for this remote role is [$60.00 -$68.00/hour CAD]. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all Canada locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
