Role DescriptionWe are looking for a full-time, on-site Mid-Level Software Developer to join our development team in Amman.
You will develop and maintain web applications, APIs and system integrations supporting ERP and e-commerce operations.
You will work closely with the Tech Lead, Project Manager and other developers to translate business requirements into reliable software solutions.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain web applications, backend services and APIs.Build integrations between ERP, e-commerce and third-party platforms.Write clean, reusable and maintainable code.Troubleshoot bugs and resolve production issues.Work with databases and optimize application performance.Participate in technical planning, code reviews and testing.Collaborate with UI/UX, QA and project management teams.Document technical decisions, APIs and completed features.Support junior developers when required.Take ownership of assigned features from development through deployment.
RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.2–4 years of professional software development experience.Strong knowledge of programming fundamentals and software design principles.Experience with backend development and REST APIs.Good knowledge of JavaScript, Python or similar programming languages.Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work full-time from our office in Amman.
Preferred QualificationsExperience with Python, JavaScript, React or Vue.js.Experience with Frappe Framework or ERPNext.Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify or WooCommerce.Knowledge of Docker, Linux servers and deployment workflows.Previous experience building integrations or business automation systems.Understanding of inventory, order management or warehouse operations.
