Role Description As a Software Engineer at SciFin, you will design, build, and maintain backend services that power the Context Convergence platform.
You will collaborate with product managers, data experts, and other engineers to translate business requirements into scalable, reliable software solutions.
Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing APIs, optimizing data processing pipelines, writing clean and testable code, and reviewing peer contributions to maintain high engineering standards.
You will also help improve system performance, participate in architectural discussions, and contribute to deployment and monitoring practices.
This is a full-time hybrid role based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with a mix of on-site collaboration and work-from-home flexibility.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and systems design.Proficiency in Software Development and Programming with modern languages and frameworks.Experience with Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and distributed services.Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and related design principles.Comfort working in cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) and using CI/CD pipelines.Ability to write maintainable, well-tested code and perform effective code reviews.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to performance and reliability.Effective communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional, hybrid teams.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience with data-intensive or AI-driven products, and interest in GTM or revenue technology, is a plus.
