Job Summary
We are looking for a Server Engineer responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting server infrastructure.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in server troubleshooting and the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and server-related incidents efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues and incidents.Manage, monitor, and maintain Windows and Linux servers.Diagnose hardware, software, operating system, and server performance issues.Identify root causes of server failures and implement appropriate solutions.Handle server incidents, service disruptions, and performance-related problems.Perform server health checks, monitoring, and preventive maintenance.Troubleshoot issues related to CPU, memory, disk, storage, network connectivity, and system services.Install, configure, update, and maintain server operating systems and applications.Maintain server availability, stability, and performance.Document troubleshooting procedures, incidents, resolutions, and technical changes.Coordinate with network, security, application, and IT support teams to resolve infrastructure issues.Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Hands-on experience in server administration and troubleshooting.Strong knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux Server environments.Good understanding of server hardware, operating systems, storage, and system services.Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.Experience handling server-related incidents and service disruptions.Knowledge of server monitoring and performance troubleshooting tools.Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and connectivity troubleshooting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication and incident-handling skills.Ability to work under pressure and respond to critical server issues promptly.Preferred Skills
