Senior DevOps Engineer, AI & AWS
€65,000 to €75,000 (DOE) + benefits + Dublin, Hybrid 3 times in the office
Our client, a global organisation within Financial Services, is growing its AI function in Dublin and is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help design, deploy and operate the AWS infrastructure behind production AI solutions.
This is a hands-on role with strong ownership across cloud architecture, AWS, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD and production reliability, with the opportunity to influence technical design as the team grows.
What You’ll Do
• Design and manage scalable AWS cloud infrastructure for production AI applications.
• Build and automate infrastructure using CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Work with Lambda, CloudWatch, S3, IAM, EC2, ECS/Docker and RDS.
• Design infrastructure for high availability, resilience and disaster recovery.
• Create solution architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
• Support monitoring, troubleshooting and operational reliability in production.
Must Haves
• Strong hands-on AWS cloud infrastructure experience.
• Strong cloud infrastructure and solution architecture experience.
• Hands-on CloudFormation and/or Terraform experience.
• Strong CI/CD and DevOps automation experience.
• Experience with Lambda, CloudWatch, S3 and IAM.
• Experience designing resilient, highly available and recoverable systems.
• Python and/or Bash/Shell scripting experience.
• Strong communication skills and experience working in Agile environments.
Nice to Haves
• Financial Services experience.
• Exposure to AI, Machine Learning, LLMs or Generative AI.
• Experience with data pipelines, APIs, microservices, serverless or containerised applications.
