WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for an IT / DevOps Engineer to join our growing engineering/devops team.
This is a hands-on role with an approximately 50/50 split between DevOps/Build Engineering and internal IT/System Administration.
You’ll help build and maintain the infrastructure that our developers rely on every day, while also taking ownership of the studio’s internal IT environment.
You’ll work closely with developers and other engineers to automate processes, improve development workflows and keep our infrastructure secure, reliable and scalable.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
DevOps & Build Engineering
Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and automated development workflows.Work with Unreal Engine build and pipeline systems, including Horde.Maintain and improve build infrastructure, with a focus on reliability and developer experience.Automate infrastructure and repetitive processes using scripting and Infrastructure as Code.Help design, deploy and maintain backend and development infrastructure.Monitor systems and proactively improve reliability, performance and security.
IT & Systems Administration
Own the studio’s day-to-day IT infrastructure, including hardware, servers, accounts and internal services.Own workspace IT by setting up workspaces and keeping them maintained.Administer Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory and Group Policy.Manage Windows and Linux systems and our virtualisation environment.Maintain networking infrastructure, including DNS, DHCP, subnets, IP ranges and routing.Maintain network cabling and switches, access points, server room, meeting room AV, etc.Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery and security measures.Manage software licensing across the studio.
Provisioning new accounts, managing renewals and generating cost reports.Maintain an inventory of our IT assets, and budget the hardware refresh cycle.Manage imaging and deployment, patching, security and disk encryption.Provide hands-on IT support to the team when needed.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
HBO/Bachelor-level working and thinking ability, or equivalent practical experience.4+ years of relevant professional experience.Experience administering Windows and Linux environments.Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, subnets, IP ranges and routing.Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy and Microsoft 365 and/or Azure.Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines.Experience with scripting or automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python or a similar language.Experience with source control systems such as Perforce, Git or SVN.A strong security mindset and experience with backups and disaster recovery.Able to work independently, take ownership and see systems through from implementation to maintenance.Comfortable collaborating closely with developers and other technical disciplines.

Salary offered is based on numerous factors such as education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills and organizational needs.
