Description

About Your Role You will develop innovative AI tools to improve the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of psychiatric disorders such as depression and schizophrenia. You will initiate and lead AI research projects in close collaboration with clinicians and researchers, combining cutting-edge AI methods with pressing clinical challenges. In addition to conducting your own research, you will (co-)supervise PhD candidates and initiate research projects for AI students, helping to foster the next generation of researchers. You will also (co-)lead the department’s data science interest group, contribute to regional collaborations on data sharing, and actively acquire funding to expand and sustain this line of research. About You You have a (nearly completed) PhD in AI and a strong scientific track record;You have experience with biomedical data analysis, image analysis, time-series analysis and/or unstructured data;You have excellent communication skills and command of written and oral English. Basic command of Dutch is preferred;You enjoy working in a multidisciplinary environment together with clinicians and are dedicated to developing clinical applications for psychiatry. Our offer One-year contract with possible extension for one more year. Further extension is dependent on additional funding.Classification in salary scale 10 or 11: € 3.724 to € 6.825 gross for full-time employment (depending on education and experience). In addition to a good basic salary, we offer 8.3% end-of-year bonus.
