Do you enjoy working with Linux, infrastructure and business-critical platforms where reliability really matters? Join Infrastructure Applications within Mobile Core Network and become part of a team responsible for central infrastructure services supporting Tele2's network and organization. ABOUT THE ROLE Infrastructure Applications is a team of seven engineers responsible for central infrastructure services and platforms within Tele2. We operate and develop business-critical systems used across the organization and are part of Mobile Core Network, responsible for ensuring stable and secure operation and development of Tele2's mobile network. Your responsibilities will include: ·Operating, maintaining and developing Linux-based systems and infrastructure services ·Troubleshooting and problem solving in complex technical environments ·Automating recurring operational tasks and improving existing ways of working ·Lifecycle management, including patching, upgrades and platform maintenance ·Working with central services within areas such as DNS, logging and observability ·Participating in technical projects and contributing to knowledge sharing within the team Who are you? You are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team and enjoy an environment where multiple systems, platforms and technical dependencies interact. We believe you have: ·Strong experience working with and operating Linux environments ·Experience from large-scale virtual and physical server environments ·Good understanding of networking and IT infrastructure ·Experience with scripting and automation ·Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Python, Go and/or C ·Understanding of lifecycle management, patching and system upgrades ·Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken Preferred Qualifications It is an advantage if you have experience or knowledge within one or more of the following areas: ·DNS infrastructure ·Elasticsearch ·Logging and observability ·Infrastructure within telecommunications ·Infrastructure automation ·Experience from highly available and business-critical infrastructure environments We do not expect you to know everything from day one.
