About the role: We're looking for a hands-on Senior Software Engineer to help modernize and improve business-critical banking applications. This is not a purely architectural or management role. Around 70% of your work will involve hands-on engineering: writing and debugging production code, improving automated tests, fixing security issues, modernizing legacy applications, and making releases safer and more reliable. You'll work directly with development teams facing real engineering challenges — from vulnerable dependencies and outdated Java runtimes to unstable production systems, legacy middleware, weak test coverage, and slow or risky release processes.
