Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain complex Ansible roles and playbooks for automation across multiple environments, systems and applicationsDesign robust, scalable and dynamic automation solutions using advanced Ansible capabilitiesConfigure and manage resources within Ansible Automation Platform (AAP)Develop custom Ansible modules and automation components using PythonAutomate infrastructure-related processes covering servers, databases, storage and network environmentsAutomate configuration management, application deployments and operational processesDevelop security and compliance-related automation, including patching, configuration hardening and certificate renewalsSupport automation initiatives related to regulatory and operational resilience requirements, including DORADebug, troubleshoot and optimise existing Ansible solutionsIntegrate Ansible automation with CI/CD pipelines and version control systemsFollow coding standards, development guidelines and automation best practicesSupport monitoring and logging capabilities related to the Ansible Automation PlatformCreate and maintain clear technical documentation for developed automation processesCollaborate with technical teams and stakeholders within an Agile/Scrum environment
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in IT automation, including strong hands-on experience with AnsibleExcellent knowledge of Ansible playbook and role developmentExperience designing and structuring complex Ansible solutions using variables, modules, loops, plugins, templates and other advanced featuresStrong hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), including configuration and resource managementExperience developing custom Ansible modules using PythonGood understanding of infrastructure automation covering servers, databases, storage and networkingExperience with configuration management and automated application deploymentExperience with security and compliance automation, such as patching, configuration hardening and certificate managementExperience working in environments subject to DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) requirements or similar financial-sector regulatory frameworksGood knowledge of Git and version control systemsExperience integrating Ansible with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Jenkins and/or BambooExperience working in Agile/Scrum teamsPractical knowledge of tools such as JiraAbility to create clear and detailed technical documentationGood command of English and ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders
