Hello! From ToBeIT, we are looking for a Platform Operations & DevOps Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience working with Linux environments, container technologies, automation and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring platform stability, supporting production environments, improving automation and CI/CD processes, and collaborating closely with development, architecture and infrastructure teams on deployment and modernization initiatives. Important: Candidates must be currently residing in Spain, Poland, the UK or Portugal. Candidates located in any other country will not be considered. Advanced English is required, as the role involves working in an international environment and collaborating with teams across different locations. Responsibilities Manage and support Linux environments, ensuring platform stability, reliability and performance across production environments. Support Docker and Podman workloads, troubleshooting infrastructure and application-related issues in production environments. Develop and maintain Bash automation scripts, including complex scripting for operational and infrastructure-related tasks. Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines, supporting infrastructure automation and efficient software delivery processes. Support hybrid cloud deployments, working across private and public cloud environments. Maintain and improve monitoring, logging, dashboards, alerting and telemetry solutions to ensure effective platform observability. Troubleshoot infrastructure and networking issues, working with development, architecture and infrastructure teams to identify and resolve complex technical problems. Collaborate closely with developers, architects and infrastructure teams on deployments, platform improvements and modernization initiatives. Requirements Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Platform Operations, DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Engineering or a similar technical role. Hands-on experience working with Linux environments. Experience with container technologies such as Docker and/or Podman. Strong expertise in Bash, with the ability to read, write and maintain complex scripts. Familiarity with AWS products and services and experience supporting hybrid deployments across private and public cloud environments. Basic networking knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot issues related to network interfaces, routing and network performance. Experience with a broad range of CI/CD and automation tools, such as Jenkins, TeamCity and Ansible. The tools listed are examples and equivalent technologies are also considered. Experience with monitoring and observability technologies, such as Grafana, Tempo, Loki and Prometheus. Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. A delivery-focused mindset, with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility. Advanced English level is required. Candidates must be currently residing in Spain, Poland, the UK or Portugal. Desirable Skills & Experience Development experience in C# or Java, with an understanding of the .NET or JVM runtime, or broader experience in application management. Good understanding of Linux CPU and memory management. Experience working on the migration of large legacy systems. Experience designing and building complex or non-trivial deployment pipelines.
