Key Qualifications
Enough production experience that you've shipped something to real users and lived with the
consequences — typically 6+ years, though we care about the depth, not the number.
Deep JavaScript and strong React.
The event loop, async semantics, memory and rendering
behavior in the browser — and what React is doing underneath.
Solid TypeScript and modern CSS.
Proven experience building and maintaining complex single-page applications: state management,
data-heavy views, and the performance work that keeps them fast — code splitting, lazy loading,
render cost.
A keen eye for user experience and interaction design — you can tell when a design won't survive
contact with real data, and say so early.
Accessibility is part of your definition of done, not a later pass.
Comfortable consuming REST APIs and reasoning about failure, latency, and partial data as first-class
UI states rather than edge cases.
You break large features into small, high-quality deliverables and ship them steadily.
You test what you ship, and you're comfortable with CI/CD tooling and full automation testing.
Strong communication, written and verbal.
Extra Merit Qualifications
