Software Engineer Role Snapshot Location: New York, NY (4 days in-office: Mon–Thu, WFH Friday) Compensation: $180K – $230K + Competitive equity Details: Full-time, 3–4 openings, open to visa transfers (OPT, H1B) Tech Stack: Go, Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, gRPC, AWS Overview is seeking a Backend / Full Engineer (2–10 years experience) to build financial infrastructure processing billions in nonprofit payments. You will work directly with founders and leadership with zero layers in-between. Key Responsibilities Build and own backend server applications and components end-to-end. Shape architecture decisions across APIs, backend systems, and infrastructure. Collaborate directly with founders and product via whiteboarding and technical debates. Improve real-time monitoring and alerting to iterate on the product. Requirements Experience: 2–10 years in backend engineering at a reputable, growing company (VC-backed startup preferred). Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field. Core Skills: Production-level Docker and Kubernetes. Nice-to-Haves: Fintech/payments experience, proficiency in Go or Node.js, and Terraform/AWS familiarity.
