Backend Software Engineer - Series A FinTech (NYC) Go | Node | Docker | Kubernetes | NYC | Series A | Tier 1 VC's | FinTech. Location: New York City (4 days onsite per week) Salary: Up to $230K + Equity. I'm working with a Series A fintech in NYC, backed by tier 1 investors, currently growing their engineering team. If you're a Software Engineer with 2+ years of backend experience and NYC roots (or ready to be NYC based), this could be your next move. My client is hiring a Software Engineer to own backend systems end-to-end - from architecture through production. This is a hands-on Software Engineer role for someone who wants real ownership, not just a seat on a large team. The team is currently 10 but they are expanding! Tech Stack: Go and Node - you'll work across both, with Go as the primary backend languageDocker and Kubernetes - production experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a must-have for this Software Engineer roleTerraform + AWS for infrastructure As a Software Engineer here, you'll build and deploy services using Go, ship features in Node where it makes sense, and manage containerized infrastructure with Docker and Kubernetes daily. Their engineers are comfortable owning Docker configs and Kubernetes deployments without hand-holding. This isn't an environment where Kubernetes lives with a separate platform team. Location: NYC-based, hybrid, in-office 4 days per week. My client is looking specifically for Software Engineers who are NYC-based or willing to relocate to NYC.
