With many exciting developments happening simultaneously, we’re looking for someone who can help us bring order to the chaos and drive our mission forward together Job Description We need a primal strength in software development and hardware integration. We are looking for an experienced Medior/Senior Software Developer who combines technical leadership with hands-on development. This role is crucial for the further development of our advanced cable tracking systems and managing our international development team. With all the tasks available we believe it can be a position for 3-5 days per week, depending of the fulfillment of the role, which can be discussed together. Core Tasks and Responsibilities Technical Leadership -Responsible for system software architecture and technical decision-making -Ensure code quality and best practices across the entire team -Conduct technical reviews and mentor team members Software Development -Develop and maintain software for our proprietary cable tracker systems -Programming in Rust and Python, asynchronous programming and I/O operations -Work on geophysical analysis software and algorithms -Integration of software with hardware components for marine systems and drones -Develop robust, scalable applications for offshore operations Operational Responsibilities -Ensure that software runs flawlessly in offshore environments -Develop remote support capabilities for distance troubleshooting -Participate in agile/scrum development processes -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for project realization Profile Required Technical Skills We are looking for someone who: -Has at least 5-8 years of experience in software development -Has excellent knowledge of Rust programming, additional Python experience is welcome -Has experience with asynchronous programming and I/O operations -Is familiar with hardware integration and embedded systems -Has experience/affinity with marine systems and/or drone technology -Has strong background in system architecture and design patterns -Is familiar with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines and deployment -Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent Leadership Skills -Strong communication skills for international collaboration -Experience with mentoring and coaching junior developers -Ability to translate technical complexity into practical solutions -Experience with agile/scrum methodologies -Is capable of good administration processes Personal Attributes The ideal candidate: -Is both strategic and hands-on oriented -Shows flexibility in priorities and working methods -Has a problem-solving mindset -Can work independently but also collaborate effectively Working Arrangement -Primarily office-based with 1 day per week remote work possible -Flexible work attitude required for urgent projects and client deliveries -Possible availability for offshore support outside office hours and will be compensated accordingly -Collaboration with international teams across different time zones What We Offer -Innovative Work Environment: Work on technology that is currently a hot topic in the growing offshore wind and defense sector -Technical Leadership: Opportunity to shape our technical future and lead teams -Challenging Projects: Work on complex systems that make real impact in the offshore industry -International Collaboration: Gain experience leading multicultural teams -Growth Opportunities: Room to grow in a rapidly expanding company with diverse technical challenges -Direct Impact: Your work directly influences the success of critical offshore operations -Competitive Compensation: Salary appropriate for experience and responsibilities -Participate in groundbreaking innovations in offshore geophysics Do you recognize yourself in this profile and want to be part of our dynamic team?
