This landmark project will replace the century old King Edward Memorial Hospital and expand services and choice for women, newborns, and families delivering long lasting benefits and a positive legacy for the people of Western Australia. About the Opportunity As the Perth Women and Babies Hospital project continues to progress, we are seeking experienced Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers to join one of Western Australia's most significant healthcare infrastructure projects. We are particularly interested in candidates with Tier 1 contractor or principal contractor experience who have successfully delivered major building, healthcare, infrastructure or complex construction projects and are passionate about contributing to a landmark healthcare development. Key responsibilities Manage technical risks and opportunities across the project and lead the development of innovative solutions, initiatives and processes to improve project outcomes Management of key areas of works including design co-ordination, commercial management, planning and delivery phases. Provide support to the Project Manager for any stakeholder management or contractual requirements Act as the representative of the Project Manager as required, including attending meetings with the Client and other stakeholders Consider innovative design options, engineering solutions and value for money initiatives and review for practicality prior to implementation Prepare construction plans and programs for the project in line with project expectations and assist with preparation of site construction budgets and monthly reports Work closely with site supervisors to coordinate trades, monitor productivity and drive successful project outcomes. Monitor construction progress for the area of work against program and budget and report on variances Who you are Innovative. Curious. Collaborative. Solutions-focused. What you will bring Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering or an associated discipline High level of commercial building knowledge over various stages of construction, or specific areas of construction (Structure, façade, fit out) Demonstrated experience delivering major building, healthcare or infrastructure projects, ideally within Tier 1 contractor environments.
