Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain responsive, accessible, and scalable web interfaces for AEM-based
websites and applications.
Translate UI/UX designs, wireframes, business requirements, and acceptance criteria into functional,
high-quality user interfaces.
Develop and maintain reusable AEM components, templates, dialogs, and front-end libraries that
support scalability and maintainability.
Build and enhance front-end functionality using HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript, and modern
JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js where applicable.
Integrate front-end experiences with RESTful APIs, backend services, AEM content structures, and
platform integrations to enable seamless data flow.
Support Caltex and Global Web delivery needs, including enhancements, defects, releases, migration
activities, stabilization, and production support.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex front-end, AEM, browser compatibility, performance, and
cross-environment issues.
Participate in code reviews and help enforce front-end development standards, AEM best practices,
secure coding, and maintainable implementation patterns.
Collaborate with distributed teams across regions and time zones, including product, QA, backend,
DevOps, security, and vendor partners.
Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt, improve component reuse, and strengthen the reliability
and performance of customer-facing web platforms.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related
field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
Senior-level experience in front-end / UI web development, preferably in enterprise-scale customer-
facing digital platforms.
Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including AEM Sites, components,
templates, dialogs, content structures, and author/publish workflows.
Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript, and responsive web development.
Practical experience with Vue.js or demonstrated ability to work effectively with Vue-based front-end
applications.
Experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs, backend services, and content
management platforms.
Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, UI/UX implementation principles,
performance optimization, and debugging practices.
Experience using Git or similar version control tools and working within modern development workflows.
Ability to work independently in a distributed team environment and communicate clearly with technical
and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
7+ years of professional web development experience or equivalent demonstrated senior-level
capability.
Experience with AEM 6.5, AEM as a Cloud Service, Cloud Manager, Apache Sling, HTL/Sightly, OSGi,
Dispatcher, and DAM.
Experience with Vue.js in production applications; React or Angular experience is a plus.
Experience developing, enhancing, or supporting enterprise web platforms with multi-region, multi-
brand, or high-availability requirements.
Familiarity with Java, .NET, or backend integration patterns sufficient to collaborate effectively with full-
stack and backend developers.
Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery, Azure DevOps or JIRA, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and
release coordination.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, secure software delivery, vulnerability remediation, and
production deployment processes.
Experience supporting digital marketing, loyalty, retail, or customer-facing web journeys.
