About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Frontend Developer specializing in Angular and JavaScript to join our innovative IT team in Cologne. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our flagship software platform, lima, which is a comprehensive, integrated energy management SaaS solution tailored for the German energy industry. You will work within an agile environment, collaborating closely with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to develop and enhance the lima web frontend. Your primary responsibilities will include implementing new functional requirements, developing innovative features, and actively contributing ideas to improve the user experience. The role offers a unique opportunity to leverage artificial intelligence actively, ensuring our software remains at the cutting edge of technological advancement. You will also be responsible for writing and maintaining Oberflächen- and Unit-Tests, as well as Cypress tests, to ensure high-quality deliverables. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a university degree or comparable qualification in computer science or a related field. You should possess several years of professional experience in software development, particularly in frontend technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS. Experience with modern component-based JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js is essential. Strong problem-solving skills, a solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are crucial. Fluency in German, both written and spoken, is required to communicate effectively within our team and with stakeholders. A proactive attitude towards learning and adaptation to new technologies will be highly valued, as well as a passion for creating innovative and user-friendly interfaces. Responsibilities Implement new functional requirements and features in the lima web frontend using the latest Angular version.Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.Design and develop innovative UI components, ensuring a seamless user experience.Actively incorporate artificial intelligence into frontend functionalities to enhance software capabilities.Develop and maintain Oberflächen- and Unit-Tests, as well as Cypress end-to-end tests, to ensure robust and reliable software delivery.Participate in agile SCRUM teams, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.Engage in community of practice sessions to share knowledge and stay updated on industry best practices.Assist in continuous improvement initiatives, including code reviews, documentation, and process enhancements.
