Location: OmaniExperience: 5-7 YearsRole: Equation Developer Role Overview - We are seeking an experienced Equation Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in the Banking/Financial Services domain. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in RPGLE, CLLE, Equation APIs (H46/H56), MQ programming, and core Equation banking modules, with proven experience in application development, integration, testing, and troubleshooting. Must have skills - * The resource should have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in AS400 development, with a proven track record of successful implementations. * Strong expertise in RPGLE, CLLE, QMQRY, SDA, RLU, DDS, and other AS400 tools is essential for efficient development and troubleshooting. * The resource should have in-depth experience with Equation API development, including but not limited to H56, H46, and other related APIs, ensuring seamless system integrations. * Solid understanding of core Equation modules, such as Customer, Account, Loans, and other financial services components, is a key requirement. * Extensive experience in MQ programming, including expertise in channel programming, is required for secure and efficient messaging. * Responsible for reviewing, analysing, designing, programming, modifying, developing, and implementing complex applications and software products. * Proven ability to write high-quality, maintainable code and complete programs, while conducting thorough system and application tests to ensure quality. * Ability to translate detailed project specifications and procedures into logical flow charts and effectively convert them into coding using appropriate computer languages. * Willingness to quickly adapt to the working environment and collaborate with business teams to develop innovative and customized features for software products and services. * Experience in performing comprehensive application testing, including System Integration Testing (SIT), to ensure data integrity and functional correctness. * Proficient in applying industry best practices and standards in coding to enhance software quality, performance, and maintainability. * Ability to work effectively within medium to large-sized teams, demonstrating strong collaboration and communication skills. * Prior hands-on experience with Equation systems is a mandatory requirement for this role, ensuring immediate contributions to project success
