Key Responsibilities
· Good understanding of Integration patterns and ability to recommend the best
integration option based on the requirements
· Experience with REST / SOAP web service/ API integration.
· Strong customer services focus with an ability to respond to changing customer
priorities in an agile operating environment
· Ability to work independently and have a learning mindset with strong
troubleshooting skills.
· Excellent leadership and communication skills to efficiently manage client
stakeholders and Infosys internal teams.
Key competencies required
· Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
· 8 - 15 years’ overall experience in IT software design, development and support
· Software design for API Communication Protocols (REST, RESTCONF, JAVA)
· 4+ years of design & development experience in MuleSoft 3.x and 4.x.
Practical
experience with other API management/Integration products (WSO2, TIBCO, Axway)
· Strong understanding and hands-on experience of web services (REST / SOAP /
WSDL / XML), and Microservices
· JFrog Artifactory, Red Hat OpenShift, GitHub and GitHub Actions, Confluence,
Jira.
· Security - Okta / JWT, OAuth, SAML, SSL, TLS.
· Hands-on experience managing and supporting Docker containers, IBM MQ, ELK
· Experienced in CI/CD, Agile, DevOps industry standards and tools for source control,
build automation, deployment and testing (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Maven, Docker)
· Must be able to review the technical project initiation (Discovery) scope (i.e
requirements, stories, assumptions, key decisions & dependencies) and raise
queries if any and then play back to the team
· Must be able to actively participate in the technical elaboration sessions and be
ready to commence actual development (with support of Integration Technical Lead,
Integration Architect and Integration Practice Lead as required)
· Must bring an operational view when developing on an interface/API and add appropriate loggers to capture the key details, which can be used for troubleshooting/debugging
