You’ll own the infrastructure behind our products — not just keeping things up, but making them better every day. This role is about reliability, observability, and smart automation. You’ll help shape how we scale, how we deploy, and how we respond when things go wrong. If you’re calm under pressure and love clean ops, this one’s for you. What You'll Do Design and maintain the cloud infrastructure that powers Caledonia’s productsBuild out monitoring, alerting, and logging systems for real-time visibilityAutomate deployments, backups, and recovery processesHelp define and implement security practices that scale with the businessCollaborate with engineering teams to improve system performance and reliabilityLead incident response, postmortems, and process improvementsEnsure our systems meet compliance and operational standards from day one What You'll Bring 4 or more years of experience in platform, infrastructure, or site reliability engineeringStrong background in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or similar) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar)Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and service observability toolsUnderstanding of security best practices and operational compliance in production systemsExperience building systems that scale, with a bias toward automation over manual fixesA cool head, a structured approach, and a drive to make systems better every weekWillingness to work with ambiguity and help shape technical direction as we grow About Caledonia Caledonia is a next-generation financial company focused on serving freelancers, creators, and independent professionals.
